About the Project

The National Center for Mental Health and Drug Control (CNSMLA) as lead partner, an institution under the Ministry of Health, together with the Titan Psychiatric Hospital “Dr. Constantin Gorgos” as partner, implement the Project “Well-being - from goal to result”.

Priority 1: Increasing the capacity to provide primary, community healthcare, outpatient services and improving and strengthening preventive services, by developing tools and training the personnel involved in providing the services.

Objectives

General Objective

Children/youth with mental health problems (0-18 years) with increased recovery capacity and improved well-being through facilitated access to specific medical and support services of high quality, effective and resilient.

Staff Training

2370 people involved in the treatment/recovery of children/youth with mental health problems (doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, school counselors, teachers) with improved skill levels, of which minimum 2230 certified.

Parental Education

400 parents/caregivers with new assimilated information and skills gained in managing the relationship with the young people/children with mental health problems through participation in the positive parental education training program.

Training Programs

Health, social assistance, education professionals will be able to opt for one of the training programs:

PF 1 – Training in the Let’s Talk about Children Method (supported by CNSMLA, licensed by Turku University and Mieli Association).
PF 2 – Module I: ASD
PF 3 – Module I: Anxiety disorder; Module II: Depressive disorder; Module III: Attachment disorder.
PF 4 – Addiction prevention and intervention.
Parental education – Parent/caregiver training (implemented by Titan Psychiatric Hospital).
